Sri Lankan Youth Delegates Visited LMRF
As part of 4th Youth Leadership Exchange Program 2016 between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, shouldering with Hope’87, LMRF coordinated their visit in Bangladesh. LMRF as a hosting partner of this visit organized a day long program on 21 November, 2016 including visiting Panam City & Sonargaon Museum in the first half and an introductory session followed by a lunch with traditional Bangladeshi dishes.
Sri Lankan Youth team started for Panam City & Sonargaon Museum at 8:00 am from Mohammadpur lead by Ms. Tahrina Zahid, LMRF. They visited the historical places enthusiastically. After that they visited LMRF Dhaka office at 2:00 pm and Team LMRF gave them a warm flowery reception at the entrance followed by a lunch.
After having lunch, Md. Kaoser Bin Siddique, Manager-LMRF conducted an introductory session to exchange the views each other. At the beginning of the session, Dr. Shamim Khan, Executive Director of LMRF, delivered the welcome speech and shared about the organization and its projects: CureCleft, Zero Clubfoot through audio visuals. Sri Lankan Team also shared their experiences and lesson learned regarding their visit to Bangladesh too.
Mr. Rezaul Karim Babu, Country Director of Hope’87, Mr. Eqramul Haque, Hope’87, Mr. Sharif Uddin, Head of Marketing, PNL, Dr. Labiba Yesmin, Mr. Mohammad Kafiluddin, General Secretary, & Mr. Abu Sayed, Manager, LMRF were present among the guests.
